StM SmartCut is a full program for creating or importing drawings for setting process specific parameters for the waterjet. With this software the flexibility of the waterjet can be exploited to the full. At the same time with the inclusion of strategy proposals and the intuitive user interface operation is extremely simple. The software communicates directly between the waterjet cutting system and a standard office PC as CNC control unit. StM SmartCut allows fast handling of cutting requirements and the application requires no special CNC or EDP knowledge.

With TubeCut tubes can either be cut with the C axis or lying on the cutting table with 2D and 3D systems. Results can be visualized before cutting.

CAM Tools

CAMTools is a tool for processing, optimizing and correcting the cutting shape.


DataExchange: allows the additional import of the following formats: .CBF (CAMbAL V3 files), .GEO (TOPS files), .TAG (Taglio files), .ORD (OMAX files), .PRT (ADMiCUT V1 files), .WMF (Windows metafiles), .IGS (IGES files), .PS, .EPS (level 1 postscript)


SignMaker is a tool with which images (JPG / BMP) and fonts can be converted into a CAD geometry. Furthermore this IGEMS module allows the conversion of paper drawings or images with logos into .DXF files and hence the creation of a CNC Code.

NEST level 1 / level 2 nesting module

Grid nesting (Level 1) copies parts in rows and columns with optimal clearance. Automatic nesting (level 2 - only in combination with level 1) automatically optimizes parts with different geometries. All geometric shapes are supported i.e. not only can parts be nested but lines, curves and circles too.


IGEMS Organizer saves relevant information during the work process in order to organize the job orders. All possible data of individual parts, sheets and residual sheets. The system is based on an SQL database and is distinguished by the fast retrieval of stored information. A few extracts from the features: Parts management: traceability of all desired parts. On the parts level you save e.g. information on the rest of the parts which still have to be produced or information on customers, delivery dates and much more. Sheet management: Similar to parts management however saves other information such as material type, material thickness and quantity. In addition it tracks the whereabouts of residual sheets which are allocated and saved under an ID number. That means that you always have full control of the materials in store and have information with respect to where the individual residual sheets originated.


The FloatingLicence allows retrieval of the cutting program via a network from any work station. With the FloatingLicence any number of clients can be installed and then managed with the FloatingLicence module.

5X CAM Module

With the 5X CAM module chamfers can be cut on sheet workpieces with the waterjet. The module is optimal for preparation of weld seams The 5X CAM module is extremely easy to use - hence completely different to many other 5 axis cutting solutions. All you have to do is enter the angle and width of the chamfer and specify the tool path. The cutting file is then created just as easily as with the 2D process and by clicking “Start” is transmitted to the control system.


Using AWJ ramping technology changes to the material thickness or the cutting direction are automatically factored into the speed. By this means the optimal speed and a curve optimization are always achieved.


The TileMaker module is specifically for the stone industry. This module provides a special nesting aid and commands for inlay work in stone floors.
